“Yeah, I don’t know. Do you think he’s gonna abandon Conor just like that? Do you think after all this?” questioned Bisping while speaking on his YouTube channel. Chandler has been working exceptionally hard for his battle with McGregor. However, there is no status about his return date as revealed by ‘The Count’. Bisping said, “Because Dana said Dana did say recently like someone said, what do you think August September October for Conor coming back?”
“Maybe we’ll sprinkle November in there as well, just to make it sound better. And then said none of the above. Which would sound like he’s not fighting this year,” he concluded. Currently, the Dubliner is undergoing treatment and is trying hard to return to the Octagon. But it seems his return might just take a bit longer than usual.

UFC insider shares his opinion about Michael Chandler’s next fight
During the UFC 303 post-fight-press conference, UFC CEO Dana White advised ‘Iron’ to not wait any longer for ‘Mystic Mac’. Since then the 38-year-old has shocked most of the fans out there with his tweet. Chandler tweeted “I’ve been offered @MAKHACHEVMMA in October.” His tweet has caught the attention of many, including former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen. However ‘Uncle Sonnen’ doesn’t quite feel that Chandler is worthy of a title shot in the lightweight division.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the 47-year-old said, “If I told you the number one contender is coming off a loss, it’s rare in any division.” Chandler lost his last fight at UFC 281 against Dustin Poirier, which doesn’t quite make him a number-one contender, according to Sonnen. ‘The American Gangster’ then emphasized that his fight with McGregor was scheduled for the welterweight division and not lightweight.

He said, “I mean, don’t forget this isn’t exactly apple to apples, the fight with Conor McGregor was going to be at welterweight and the world title fight is going to be going on at lightweight, like these aren’t really interchangeable.” Currently, there is no official announcement about Chandler’s next fight. However, it will be interesting to see what he does next.
