Just like most main events, experts have started predicting the winner of the clash. While most of them are excited to witness the clash, Conor McGregor had already predicted about the fight months ago. Let us find out what the 36-year-old has to say about the whole thing.

The last time Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards fought each other was in the year 2021. However, the fight ended as a no-contest after an accidental eye poke by ‘Rocky’ ended the fight. Three years down the line, Edwards will now defend his title against the same opponent in the upcoming UFC 304 event. Both fighters have a very strong ground game and are known to use their wrestling skills during their fights. But it seems ‘Mystic Mac’ isn’t quite impressed by both. The Championship Rounds shared a video on their X on May 21, 2024, where the Dubliner shared his opinion on the main event.

During the video, McGregor discussed Edward’s fight with Covington at UFC 295 and said, “He fought Leon last? That was a decision.” If we go by Edwards’s record, most of his fights usually end with a decision that does not excite the former dual champion. In his UFC career, ‘Rocky’ has won only three fights via knockout, to which the Dubliner said, “Too many decisions going out that Leon fella. Leon Edwards loves a decision. ”

McGregor then pointed to his next opponent, Belal Muhammad, and said, “And he is fighting another decision guy, Belal. So not great times in the welterweight picture.” ‘Remember the Name’ is also known for his aggressive wrestling style and has won most of his fights via decision. The Dubliner analyzed both fighters and said, “200 buys, not even 200, 150 thousand PPV. Not even a paper view.”
