Former president Donald Trump has been a fixture at many UFC events going all the way back to 2001 when the promotion held UFC 30 at the ‘Trump Taj Mahal’ in Atlantic City. The politician and business mogul recently also attended the UFC 302 event in New Jersey where he was greeted with resounding applause by the members of the audience.
As such, during their conversation on the TFATK (The Fighter and The Kid) podcast episode no. 1009, Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub talked about the possibility of the former president making an appearance at ‘The Sphere’. Callen started off the discussion by questioning “When he shows up to the UFC, what do you think?”
His co-host and former UFC heavyweight, Schaub then stated that he’s just waiting for Trump to make another appearance in the UFC. Callen then stated that he believes that the crowd might be the “craziest” ever if the former POTUS showed up. Schaub then went on to claim, “I bet he shows up at the sphere in September… Yep, the Sphere, September 14th, Trump will be there, biggest sporting event in combat history. Boom.”
The longtime association between White and Donald Trump can make this appearance a possibility. After the recent assassination attempt on the former president, White had proclaimed on ‘The Pat McAfee’ show, “This guy is the legitimate, ultimate American bad a**of all-time.” It remains to be seen if Brendan Schaub’s prediction for Trump’s appearance comes true or not, but the UFC boss has recently indicated that the event will feature a rarely seen seating arrangement for the fans watching the show live!
