Joe Rogan and his knack for fitness are well known. The UFC commentator is a fitness freak even at 56 and continues to motivate millions around the globe. He is also aware of the pressure society puts on an individual to conform to the norm of a stereotypical body and the lack of empathy for those who fail to fit in. But the situation is more dire for men.

The 56-year-old recently touched upon obesity when he sat down with Bill Maher in Ep. #2029 of The Joe Rogan Experience. In one segment, the guest and famed comedian pointed out the risks of being obese. He also mentioned that some people find obesity “beautiful” or “sexy”. However, the color commentator contended the standards were not uniform.

In initiating the conversation, Maher detailed the negative impact of obesity. He said, “But fat is fat, and it’s not healthy. Even if you find it beautiful or sexy or whatever you want it. It’s just science. It’s bad for literally every part of your health. From how you p*op to your eyesight. There’s nothing that obesity doesn’t affect negatively.”

Following this, the famed podcaster chimed in and expressed that men remained devoid of body positivity, and the label of fat remained attached. He stated, “You know who doesn’t get any of that body positivity sh*t though is men. Nobody gives a f*ck about men. If a man is fat, you’re just fat.”

Calling Corden’s reaction a ploy, Rogan continued, “That’s just like when James Corden tried that sh*t with you. It was such an obvious ploy. ‘Oh, you’re hurting my feelings, Bill. Fat shaming’.”

Later on, Rogan detailed that Corden was fat from food and didn’t suffer from any genetic disorders. Moreover, the standup comic believed Corden wasn’t working out and living a good life, eating nice food. Hence, for Rogan, there was some sort of stratagem in the play of Corden’s comments.
