Ian Garry did not get a great reception from the crowd at the UFC 298 press conference. But he has promised to prove his doubters wrong this weekend against Geoff Neal. Nonetheless, fans barely had any positive things to say about Garry, as they sounded off on the 27-year-old in a post on social media. Ian Garry was met with a chorus of boos during the press conference as soon as he held the microphone to speak his mind.

Nevertheless, ‘The Future’ continued to voice what he wanted and even made a gentleman’s agreement with Geoff Neal. Garry further went on to add a few more words as the crowd continued their attempts to silence him. Ian soaked in the hate he received from the crowd at the press conference. He claimed that the fans were there to see him fight inside the Octagon, so the boos did not matter to him. Garry said, “Every single one of you is talking about me. Every single one of you here is here to see me.”

Furthermore, he promised the fans that he was aiming to prove them wrong after beating Geoff Neal this weekend. I’m gonna get my hand raised Saturday night and I’m gonna silence every single one of you,” Ian Garry added. When both fighters were asked if they would shake hands after the bout, ‘The Future’ responded, “I’ll shake hands with any man that’s willing to stand there in the octagon with me. That simple as. Geoff, I’ll shake your hand if you’re willing to shake mine.”
