Conor McGregor looks different and his fans can witness it. The Irish fighter was supposed to go up against Michael Chandler sometime this year, however, he did not make it in time for the USADA testing pool. Now, McGregor will have to sit out this year and wait until he can be tested before he steps back inside the Octagon. Meanwhile, a video of him enjoying himself with a punching machine has surfaced.

Fans noticed that something looked different about ‘The Notorious’. The fighter was throwing punches at the machine to see how strong they were in the most casual manner. The outing caught the eyes of so many fans that his weight had to be brought up. So what was so different about it?

Has Conor McGregor lost his size?

Conor McGregor may have cracked his shin bone in the fight against Dustin Poirier, but has he also lost his weight? The fighter has been teasing his fight with Chandler for ages now. Fans hoped the fight would happen this year but with the UFC 296 card being laid out, the chances of him not showing up this year are pretty much sealed. On the other hand, fans made an interesting observation.

The Irishman who raised eyebrows and invited steroid accusations with his bulked-up physique looked much different. In the clip, the 35-year-old looked how he did before his controversial bulk.

On the flip side, this could also be an indication that the Irishman is indeed on the road to getting his weight down in the hopes of a return early next year. But none of that held the fans back from taking shots at the former champion.

Following are some of the reactions that took aim at ‘The Notorious.’

“Has bro slimmed down”

“Juiced Conor breaks the record on the 1st try”

“His head size is back to normal”

The Irishman recently missed the testing pool time entry window for USADA. This meant that would not be cleared to compete since he could not meet the mandatory 6-month testing period. That’s probably why some of the comments mentioned the magic “juice”.

“Slimmed down off that juice”

“Doesn’t count until he passes USADA”

Others, however, had kinder things to say about their favorite fighter.

“Conor still got it. He’d whoop any lightweight or Welterweight in the top 5”

“He did say “… precision beats power.” We all know Conor was more of a sniper than a cannon”

“Guys who are amateur can do the same.”

“No wonder he can’t knock anyone out anymore”

“Weak punch I can do better”

“No wonder he can’t knock anyone out anymore”

So, what’s really going on? It’s obvious that the fighter hasn’t quite lost his grip in spite of fans’ claims. He scored an impressive 860 on the punching machine. There were fans in the comments claiming Poirier broke the machine when he tried, and they were right to some extent. But the greater idea here was to throw shade at McGregor losing to ‘The Diamond’ at UFC 264. What will McGregor do now?

What’s next for McGregor?

The fighter will probably fight next year. That is, if things work out well for him. UFC 296 will be the last pay-per-view of this year and Dana White is yet to speak McGregor’s name. Meanwhile, he has already announced a whole bunch of fights. This makes a McGregor vs. Chandler fight impossible.

More importantly so because McGregor can no longer take a test and be cleared in time unless he receives a special exemption. Did the fighter use PEDs to recover faster and perform better going forward? Fans suspect so. Either way, the only way for McGregor to step back into a cage and win is if he recovers that bone, clears the test, and makes weight. Two of those things look like they’re well underway. Will the fighter be left alone eventually about the size change or will the fans still have a bone to pick with him? Give us your thoughts in the comments.
