Marie Daniele was there to witness Strickland’s first title defense. She was expecting to witness a victory for Strickland but fate, or rather DDP had other plans.

The fight went till the last round and there was even a tint of uncertainty about the winner of the bout. After the defeat, Strickland seemed heartbroken.
