Max Holloway is your brand new BMF champion of the world and he’s a class act all the same. At UFC 300, Max Holloway was scoring round after round outstriking former champion Justin Gaethje by a lot. However, it was the ending that stuck with everyone else.
In the post fight interview, ‘Blessed’ proudly announced “I’m him” to an absolutely thrilled audience. And he’s proven his words once again by responding to Justin Gaethje on his X handle after knocking him out in the very last second.

The BMF fight was everything people were hoping that it would be. It went on for all of its five rounds and throughout them all, Holloway was dominant. In the end, him and Gaethje began going blow for blow when ‘Blessed’ asked his opponent to fight in the center of the cage.
It was right then and there that a slugfest began and when the dust settled, fans realized that Gaethje had been knocked out cold in the very last second. The former champ would soon take on to his X handle to address the situation. “I’m in great spirits with my family. Thanks for all the love. What a sport. @BlessedMMA you’re a dog. Congrats. Well deserved double bonus #ufc300” he wrote. In response, Holloway thanked his opponent.
Thank you for the opportunity my man! God speed! 🤙🏻

“Thank you for the opportunity my man! God speed!” he tweeted out. Now, he is on his way forward. Was this your favorite fight from the night? Dana White certainly felt that way which is probably why he gave Max Holloway a big double bonus like Gaethje mentioned.
Not only did he pick up a Performance of The Night bonus but also a Fight of The Night bonus which means after White raised the bonuses to $300,000, Holloway went home with a $600,000 extra on his already large paycheck defining his BMF moment and etching it in history books.

Max Holloway won the BMF fight against Justin Gaethje and decided that he needed to go and fight some of the best from multiple divisions. So he first called out the champion of his featherweight division, Ilia Topuria and accused ‘El Matador’ of running away from “the bull”.
He also went on to call lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and accused him of fighting and defeating 145-pounders instead of fighters in his own weight class. Do you think ‘Blessed’ will get one of the two champs to fight him soon? Let us know in the comments.
