Anderson Silva’s daughter, Kaory Silva recently took to her Instagram story to speak her mind about the recent comparisons. In the story, Silva wrote a long message in her native Portuguese and added career stats of both Adesanya and Silva side-by-side. She started off by acknowledging Adesanya’s accomplishments.
However, she went ahead to say that it was not right to compare Adesanya with the ‘incomparable’ Anderson Silva. She talked about how her father not only performed exceptionally but also changed the definition of MMA. Silva felt that her father turned the sport of MMA into an art.
“I want to make it clear that I’m not here to try to diminish young Adesanya as a fighter and the story he’s building. Each one is each one. But, you guys are trying to compare the incomparable. Not only did Spider deliver 10000000% in every battle, but it also changed people’s views of the sport. He made MMA an art. His story is his alone and no one else’s. Stop trying to compare the incomparable. Never will be, never will be!”
