Everything seems easier on television. Television cannot capture the real-time speed, intensity, and feel of most sports, including combat sports. This, of course, makes some fans think they actually have a chance against fighters.

The internet is full of such individuals getting their comeuppance at the hands of fighters or instructors when they invade gyms. A few years ago, former boxing heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder put a beating on a man who insulted him, and his family and claimed he would defeat the Alabama native. In another such incident, UFC welterweight Matt Brown recently shared an old video of one such troll learning what happens when you go against a professional fighter.

Brown posted a video on his Twitter account. It shows the welterweight fighting another individual, who claimed online that he would beat him and his team if they faced each other. Brown sent him the address to the gym, and was brave enough to show up at the gym, the 42-year-old explained in tweets accompanying the video.

“This is the story of an internet troll who said he was going to beat my ass and my whole teams ass… See, back then, circa 2014, when you talked crap online to me I would send gym address. Of course no one ever showed up. Until this poor guy came along,” he wrote.

Brown wishes the individual well

The Ohio native can be seen head-kicking the loudmouth fan in the opening seconds of their bout, making him hit the canvas and start writhing in pain. He wished the poor guy well and revealed that he had not been heard from after the incident.

“He actually showed up but little did he know my team that he was going to beat up consisted of me, @marioshaolin @myleskrobinson @carloscarvalho999 @adam_disabato @coachdorianprice and some other savages!”

Well, the whole affair played out exactly how one would expect it to go. A professional fighter beats a delusional fan within seconds as the former lies on the floor writhing on the floor. But, a section of fans point out that this is irresponsible on the fighter’s part. The man Wilder beat up, for example, is widely speculated to be suffering from some form of mental ailment. And it is pretty hard to see why one would threaten a professional fighter and then show up to their gym to fight them.
