The renowned MMA page, Freak MMA recently surfaced the reason behind Conor McGregor’s compatriot’s hand tattoo. It surfaced an image of Garry while he was sitting with his grandfather. Additionally, the caption was enough to tell the entire story. It stated, “Ian Garry shared the meaning behind his “imagine” tattoo revealing it’s a tribute to his grandad with dementia.”

The post further highlighted his captions that were enough to express his sentiments.“He’s got dementia so he can’t really remember things lately and obviously it’s getting worse, but for some reason whenever you say the word imagine he immediately goes to John Lennon and just starts singing so I love it”.

Indeed, Garry’s concerns for his grandpa were evident in the post. For his love for his grandpa, he surely took the step to write ‘imagine’ on his hand as a tattoo. While Garry’s words surfaced in an Instagram post, they acted as a magnet to attract the reactions of the fans. But how did they react?
