Conor McGregor once shook up the MMA universe by becoming a two-division champion. However, ‘Notorious’ is currently facing a rough phase in the promotion. He has only won one fight from his previous four bouts.
For many UFC fans and pundits, the Irishman is one of the greatest fighters in the promotion’s history. However, considering his recent run, many have started questioning the legacy of the Irish star.
One of them is the UFC legend Georges St-Pierre, who himself reached the pinnacle of two divisions during his time. Recently GSP appeared in an interview with SPORF, where he talked about his potential fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov and also talked about McGregor.

He added, “Now he’s, he’s going down, his stock is going down. His stack is going down. There’s been a few fights that it’s going down a little bit. There is a possibility that he might come back up. But I think now things does not go well for him. You need to change some of his lifestyles.”
Will Conor McGregor Rise Again?
‘Notorious’ faced a defeat in his quest to regain the lightweight title against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. However, in his next fight, McGregor only needed forty seconds to secure a win over Donald Cerrone.
After his win, McGregor was scheduled for a much-anticipated rematch against his rival Dustin Poirier, who he defeated in the first slugfest. Unfortunately, ‘The Diamond’ turned the tables around and settled the score at 1-1 with a knockout win over McGregor.
The lightweight combatants met again in a blockbuster trilogy at UFC 264. Unfortunately, McGregor suffered a defeat again and also snapped his leg in the fight. This injury has kept him away from the UFC octagon.
