After his injury, Lonzo Ball has been out of court for a year. He has had two surgeries to fix his injured knee. The 25-year-old got sidelined due to concerns about his injuries. This, without a doubt, had the Chicago Bulls fans worried. However, following the surgeries, the posts about his rehabilitation seemed to go viral amongst the netizens. Recently, a video of the former UCLA star working out with a free-standing punching bag has been circling around on the internet. Undoubtedly, the video caught the attention of the fans.

Ball suffered a torn left meniscus, about a year ago. Although he was provided with six to eight weeks of recovery time, he encountered multiple setbacks. He underwent surgery at two different times, as well. With the rehabilitation activities, the basketball star might hope to return to the court soon enough. However, fans simply didn’t encourage his boxing skills, as a video goes viral on Instagram.

A video of Ball rapidly punching a free-standing heavy punching bag has gone viral on social media. The Bulls point guard didn’t have good form, and the fans were quick to notice that. Although the athlete might have intended it to be a cardio workout, the fans couldn’t help but connect the dots between martial arts and basketball. 

While most of the fans criticized and made fun of Ball, some of them were sympathetic. They revealed that the man was still recovering and there was no need to post such videos. Furthermore, some of the fans were focused on the cardio he was getting in. One among such men was the mixed martial artist, Kimbo Slice. He wrote, “Bro just getting a good workout in.” Nonetheless, most of the MMA fans made fun of his bad form.

Previously, before his second surgery, Ball revealed that he couldn’t jump or run. He let his worries go public. Thankfully, after his surgery, the basketball player released a few videos of himself working out and testing the strength in his repaired knee.

Ball posted a video of himself trying to dunk. He captioned, “He that can’t endure the bad, will not live to see the good.” In the same post, he was seen boxing, hopping on his left leg, and running on the treadmill. Without a doubt, he seemed like he would get ready to return to the court very soon.
