Nate Diaz may be looking to make his UFC return soon! The Stockton stepped away from the Octagon after his win against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in 2022. His last fight was against social media star turned-boxer Jake Paul in August this year. Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards faced off in a 5-round battle at the UFC 263 card in 2021. The fight was the first clash between the two, and Edwards was the favorite coming into the matchup. The fans saw Edwards display his diverse striking skills as he managed to batter Diaz throughout the fight.

However, Diaz proved that he was still dangerous even after 5-rounds of a grueling affair as he managed to catch Edwards with his patented 1-2 combination staggering the British fighter!

While Diaz was unable to finish the wobbly Edwards, he shocked the entire MMA community with his performance in the dying minutes of the fight. As such, in a recent post on Twitter/X, Diaz dropped a GIF from their fight with the caption, “300”.

His post indicates that Diaz is looking to be a part of the historic event and challenge Edwards for the welterweight title. Fans were also speculating that the McGregor vs. Diaz trilogy at UFC 300 would be an iconic fight as well, but it seems that Diaz has other ideas in mind.
