Joe Rogan has been able to maintain a top-notch physique thanks to his love for exercising and healthy eating habits. The 55-year-old is a massive fitness enthusiast who promotes healthy living. The podcaster is also very famous amongst his fans for being experimental when it comes it trying new dietary programs and workout methods.
Rogan participates in what he calls the ‘Sober October’ challenge every year. This fitness regime aims to lose the maximum amount of weight in October. Furthermore, there’s another rule to this challenge: consumption of alcohol and other substances is strictly prohibited. One needs to stay sober and burn as many calories as possible.

Moreover, to make the challenge even tougher, the podcaster has his friends take up the challenge as well. Fellow stand-up comics Ari Shaffir, Tom Segura, and Bert Kreischer participate with Rogan every year in this challenge. Additionally, they have a lot of discussions around the challenge.
In a new JRE episode, Rogan shared how the challenge affected his wife.
Joe Rogan revealed his wife got uncomfortable during the challenge
The quad appeared on the JRE show and had some fun conversations together. Speaking about the challenge, Rogan also revealed his obsession with winning the competition, as well as how it bothered his wife one time.
The UFC commentator said, “my wife gets really uncomfortable when we start doing these things. My wife gets scared of me being obsessed because during the f*cking Sober October fitness challenge I went off the rails. It was nuts.”

Rogan also stated that the reason the group scrapped off the competitiveness from the challenge was because of the limits that they used to push themselves to win.
The comedian also revealed one time that he did cardio for seven hours and watched John Wick 50 times in the process. However, his wife wasn’t pleased with that at all. Rogan said, “that one was just too crazy. My wife didn’t like it either. It’s like I became obsessive. I think we all did.”
The challenge will end at the end of the month and they would declare the individual with the maximum weight loss the winner. What do you think about this challenge?
