What do you first think about Dana White when you take a good look at him? Shrewd businessman, who doesn’t pull his punches? A no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is individual who doesn’t compromise on what’s best for the UFC? Sure. What about his personal life? Well, we do have mixed feelings, especially since seeing White and his wife have a public altercation in a 2022 New Year’s eve party. Beyond that? We know that White is a pretty doting father as seen in his interactions with his sons Dana White III and Aidan White. But it’s his daughter that provided a glimpse into what a softy the UFC head honcho really is.
Savannah White took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day to post a heartfelt post dedicated to her father. She posted a photo of the two together, her as a little child being held by a smiling Dana White, as the caption reads, “Most importantly, I love my first ever Valentine.” The heartwarming post instantly gained notice when the head honcho reshared it on his Instagram story, showing their strong relationship.
The UFC CEO’s daughter, who is presently in high school, has frequently expressed her affection for her father on social media, and this post was yet another proof of their close bond. After all, she is his miracle baby. Savannah White—Dana and Anne White’s youngest and only daughter was born in August 2006. During his appearance on the This Past Weekend podcast in November 2023, Dana claimed that after their first two children, his wife Anne suffered an ectopic pregnancy, and medical professionals told her that “she wouldn’t be able to have kids anymore.”

However, five years later, she became pregnant with Savannah, whom the head honcho dubbed a “miracle baby.” The UFC founder also highlighted the experience of having a daughter after raising males, calling it “tougher.” Dana White claimed that there was a “natural” instinct to watch out for her. So much so that he has some strict rules that Savannah White needs to follow.

Dana White reveals his strict parenting technique while raising his daughter
Dana White is often in the news, whether he’s announcing big fights or facing criticism. As the UFC’s face, he rarely avoids public scrutiny. However, when it comes to his personal life, White is known to keep everything a secret. Despite this, he recently discussed his parenting method, explaining how he raises his children—particularly his daughter—differently from his sons. During an appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, White discussed his business, relationships with high-profile personalities such as Donald Trump, and handling criticism.
But one of the more emotional moments occurred when he discussed his duty as a father. While White usually keeps family concerns out of the public light, he seemed proud to discuss his children and provide insight into how he raises them, with the biggest focus on making sure that his daughter is always safe.

What’s your perspective on:
Is Dana White's protective parenting style justified, or should he give his daughter more freedom?
Have an interesting take?
He said, “It’s tougher being a girl dad because I didn’t really give a s— what the boys did. They could do whatever they want… she can’t do whatever she wants.” The head honcho went on to explain, “As a dad, you have to sort of oversee and protect your daughter more than you did your sons.”
While he gives his sons more independence, he sees it as his job to be more protective of his daughter. It’s unsurprising that White takes a tough stance toward his family. As an influential figure in MMA, he has always been acknowledged for his no-nonsense approach. However, when it comes to his daughter, his control appears to stem from a place of deep love and concern. Despite his tougher parenting style, there does not appear to be any barrier between them, as evidenced by her Instagram story. But what do you think? Do you agree with the UFC CEO’s parenting style?
