Former UFC fighter Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller isn’t having the best time of his life as of late. He’s been arrested several times in the past few years and recently shared an apologetic statement on social media. Meanwhile, his former rival, Michael Bisping, came out to support him amidst his ongoing issues.

‘Mayhem’ was recently released from jail after getting arrested on charges of domestic violence and vandalism. However, he found himself in trouble with the law again after a scuffle with a fan. The incident forced Jason Miller to take a step back and cater to the problems relating to his mental health and issued an apology in a post on Instagram.

Jason Miller believes he has more debt to pay

The former UFC fighter decided to be real with his situation to his fans and followers on Instagram. He mentioned how he had been away in prison for 364 days, which acted as a means to make atonement for the mistakes he’s made. However, he realized that he still had a lot to improve on. So taking to his social media, in a recent post he said, “I went away for a couple of years to pay my debt to society, and when I got out, I realized that I have much more paying to do.

Furthermore, Jason Miller also mentioned that he was hoping to have an easy transition from being in prison to coming out to the real world. But he is finding it hard to be a free man with problems in his relationship with people in society.

“I thought I could smoothly transition from prison to the regular world, but things have been more difficult than I imagined, especially interpersonal relationships and the burden of being free,” said ‘Mayhem’. He also issued an apology to his family as well.

Miller apologized to his family as Michael Bisping offered his support to his former rival

‘Mayhem’ Miller was devastated to have put his family in trouble because of his self-destructive behavior. As such, he offered a sincere apology to his close ones for his behavior affecting their lives unfavorably. He added, “My family has bore the brunt of my frustration and self destructive behavior, so to them I offer a sincere apology and if I have directly affected you in a negative manner, I am sorry.”

His statement did not go unnoticed in the MMA community, as his former UFC rival shared his reaction to the Instagram post. Michael Bisping, who had one of the most engaging rivalries with Jason Miller, offered his support to ‘Mayhem’. He claimed that it was courageous of him to have accepted the problems he had while wishing him the best for his future. “Wishing you the best. Brave and wise words,” Michael Bisping commented.

Jason Miller, who has an MMA record of 23 wins and 10 losses, hasn’t competed since 2016. Moreover, it’s been over a decade since he fought under the UFC banner.
