UFC color commentator and JRE podcast host, Joe Rogan, often talks about stories from his childhood. During episode #1857 with Seth Dillon, Rogan talked about how teachers are crucial in the shaping of a child’s life. While talking about teachers, the 55-year-old shared a story about his own experiences with his schoolteachers.

Joe Rogan believes children are impressionable at an early age and that the information provided by their teachers could help build their values.

The UFC color commentator recalled an incident that took place between him and a schoolteacher. Rogan said, “I’ve had some great teachers but, I’ve also had some f**king dummies, some real dummies, that said some stupid sh*t to me. I remember a teacher kicking me out of the room, telling the class don’t laugh because he’s never going to amount to anything… Mr. Rogan is never going to amount to anything.”

Understandably, The Joe Rogan Experience host was upset with the way he was treated and called the statement made by his teacher “rude” and “sh**ty.” It infuriated Joe Rogan as he said, “Why would you say that to a f**king eight-year-old?”

The 55-year-old later corrected himself, saying that he may have been fourteen when the incident took place.

The UFC icon eventually concluded his story by saying, “You shouldn’t say that to kids.”

Joe Rogan and Seth Dillon talked about how the influence of teachers may affect the thought process of a child. The pair exchanged words about how children are often taught about certain things by teachers that their parents might not necessarily approve of. The UFC commentator believes that “Children are very malleable.”

They finally concluded by saying that they do not believe that a teacher should not be tutoring children from their perspective, and should remain objective in their jobs.

Despite his teacher’s comments, Rogan has certainly made quite a name for himself since then. The comedian can certainly look back at this memory as yet another reason for his success.
