When will Conor McGregor return to the Octagon for his match against Michael Chandler? The fans and Chandler himself have yet to find an answer to this question. While many believed the fight would happen in 2023, unfortunately, it got pushed to 2024. Chandler recently appeared in a YouTube podcast and shared his feelings regarding his much-awaited money matchup.

McGregor was last seen at UFC 264, where he took on Dustin Poirier. The fight ended with McGregor suffering a horrendous leg injury. Since then, the 35-year-old has yet to return to the Octagon. Let us delve into the video to determine when we can expect the fight to happen.

Conor McGregor is one of the biggest superstars the UFC has ever seen. The two-time champion is famous not only for his skills inside the Octagon but also for what he does outside. He recently took to Instagram to share his workout videos, which might hint at a possible return to the Octagon. Michael Chandler will be his opponent once McGregor returns to fight.

However, ” Iron” currently has no idea when the fight will happen. While speaking to ESPN MMA on YouTube, Chandler said: ” ” No updates aside from the fact that we are moving in the right direction. The fact that Conor is out there training, he is posting new training footage of him being in the gym, not just the yacht . Kind of you know training with some three pound dumbbells. He’s actually in the gym he’s back in the gritty training gyms that we want to see him in. So um that’s all um exciting news I’m just like you guys watching the whole thing from afar.”

Mystic Mac’s recent training videos and shredded figure might hint at a possible return for the fans. UFC CEO Dana White clearly mentioned that Michael Chandler will be his next opponent when he return to the Octagon. With all the delays that have occurred, many have speculatated that the bout may be saved for a marquee PPV for the promotion.

UFC 300: Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler?

The much awaited return for McGregor was scheduled in 2023 itself, however the fight did not happen. Now the reports suggest that the possible comeback is scheduled for UFC 300. UFC 300 is one of the biggest landmark events for the UFC. With McGregor returning to full fitness and his opponent already decided in Michael Chandler fans can expect the fight to happen soon. Both the fighters have been eagerly waiting to get into the Octagon and settle the fight once and for all.

Chandler and McGregor first locked horns against each other in the show The Ultimate Fighter season 31. As respective coaches for their team, both went against each other multiple times during the show. Although there are no previous meetings between both the fighters in the UFC. The build up to this fight can guarantee a lot of entertainment for the fans. McGregor will be returning to the Octagon after four years.
