Leon Edwards, since becoming the UFC welterweight champion, has had a barrage of call-outs against him. The reason for so many fighters calling out the Brit is that the division has seen a new champion in a long time. Thus, the door for previous contenders also opened, who vanquished the previous champion, Kamaru Usman.

Meanwhile, amidst so many call-outs, the one that stands out the most is from Jorge Masvidal. The arch nemesis of ‘Rocky’ has made his intentions clear of fighting for the title against him. Although, previously Edwards wasn’t very keen on the matchup and was more focused on the trilogy against Usman. However, lately, it seems like the Jamaican-born fighter wants his revenge against Masvidal.
