Dana White has always been unapologetically vocal about how much he hates boring fights in the UFC. The promotion’s President has time and again bashed fighters for putting up dull fights that have failed to entice the audience. Recently, UFC Nashville witnessed a similar fight that did not give fans the adrenaline rush they always seek.

In the main event of the night, UFC star Cory Sandhagen faced Rob Font. Sandhagen was able to win the fight in a dominant fashion, but the goosebump-inducing action was certainly missing. So much so, that social media tweets also reported that UFC President Dana White might have walked out of the fight in the 4th round. Reacting to this news, Sandhagen had an interesting take!

When Sandhagen appeared on the MMA Hour Show with Ariel Helwani, the conversation quickly shifted to this controversial topic. Without an inch of reluctance, the UFC featherweight admitted that White might have walked out of the arena. However, he believed that it might have been due to other reasons.

“I think it’s probably true if people were saying that. But that could be for a number of reasons, that just doesn’t happen… He’s like a busy dude and all that”, he said. Further, he went on to discuss how White was at peace with him when the two met backstage.

“When I talked to him, he was real friendly, real nice. He was super understanding and there was like no ‘Hey motherf*cker you should have done this’. There was none of that”, he said. If the UFC fighter is to be believed, Dana White being frustrated with the colorless main event at UFC Nashville is just a rumor.
