Masvidal said, “I get a lot of exposure myself, so we came up with the idea. We just wanted to give that exposure to the fighters back in a massive way. My street fights, my YouTube fights I have fans forever from these fights. People will forever remember them. They see me in the street and they are like oh my gosh, it’s you from those bare-knuckle days. They don’t know anything about UFC or boxing, just these fights.”
