The legendary fighter recently signed a contract to compete in a celebrity boxing match, which has reignited his fiery spirit. The veteran fighter’s back and forth with Conor McGregor is turning heads in the combat sports world.

However, not all fans are happy to see Coleman back in action. The 58-year-old has had a polarising effect on the MMA universe after his controversial social media antics and training videos. Recently, one of his acts even landed him in trouble with Instagram.

Coleman’s path to a triumphant return hit a stumbling block when Instagram deleted his account due to foul language. He created a new account soon after and issued an apology video. He humbly acknowledged his mistake and hoped for the support of his loyal fans to regain his following.

“I need your help. My Instagram got deleted for using foul language. I was wrong, I do apologise, but starting new account. Hopefully you can share this and get my followers back.”

In the caption of a video addressing the situation, Coleman showcased his commitment to a fresh start. “If you have been wondering where I’ve been my instagram got deleted. It was my fault and it won’t happen again”. As always, he emphasized the importance of sobriety while expressing gratitude to his fans and extending his love to all who has been by his side. “Sober is still the coolest”, the former UFC champion wrote at the end.

Conor McGregor had posted a tweet acknowledging the challenge to fight Coleman. However, the Irishman later deleted the tweet. Not one to shy away from expressing himself, Coleman took to Facebook to address McGregor directly. With unwavering confidence, he declared that the fight must be in boxing, as he knows he would pummel McGregor in MMA, even at the age of 58.

“Conor McGregor. I’m a big fan, thank you for calling me out. It has to be boxing, I smash you in MMA, you know that. You did steal a round from Khabib but that’s at 155. Boxing, probably go to a decision. We’ll see who wins that. But, I want a red panty night! Sober is cool, Conor will die! For life.”
