Serghei Spivac submitted Derrick Lewis via submission in their heavyweight main event bout at UFC Vegas 68. The 28-year-old put on an impressive dominant show to secure an arm triangle submission after 3 minutes into the first round. With the win, Spivac is now on a three-fight win streak.

As for Derrick Lewis, the former title challenger has now lost three in a row. He came into the fight oozing confidence and shocked fans with his body transformation. Nevertheless, the 37-year-old’s night ended in disappointment. His previous losses were to Tai Tuivasa and the heavy-hitting Sergei Pavlovich.

Serghei Spivac started off strong, taking Lewis to the ground and dragging him around. ‘The Polar Bear” lived up to his name as he mauled “The Black Beast,” taking Lewis down each time he tried to stand up. Ultimately, he managed to sink in the arm triangle choke that forced Lewis to tap.
Fans and pros on Twitter reacted to that Spivac’s dominant display. Many of them lamented the tough loss that fan favorite Lewis had to face.

Following his win, Spivac shot for the stars as he called out Jon Jones to a fight. Considering his age and current form, Spivac could eventually work his way up to a title fight.
