UK-based UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall achieved a fantastic victory at the UFC London main event on Saturday. The 30-year-old first used a right elbow, then a left hook, and then a right jab to drive his opponent Marcin Tybura to the canvas. Sensing the opportunity, Aspinall went for the kill and finished off his rival via TKO. Post his triumph, the 30-year-old also made it clear that his ultimate goal was to get a shot at Jon Jones’ title.

Further, Aspinall also revealed how he was going to get to Jones. He stated that he would visit the upcoming UFC Paris and challenge the winner of Serghei Spivac vs. Ciryl Gane. A win against one of them would probably be enough for him to get a Heavyweight title shot. Aspinall further mentioned, “I’m gonna beat Jon Jones”.

Do you think Aspinall will be able to materialize his words? Or will ‘Bones’ prove too much for him to overcome?

Quite evidently, the Heavyweight king, Jon Jones, also had his eyes on the Heavyweight main event of UFC London. ‘Bones’ took heed of Aspinall revealing his ultimate goal, which was to beat him and claim the UFC Heavyweight championship to his name. Further, he also took to his Twitter and posted a 3-word tweet about Aspinall’s plan.

Bones’ tweet read, “Sounds good lol”. However, it was hard to realize whether he was really appreciative of Aspinall’s vision or it was just a sarcastic reaction.

Looking at the prowess that ‘Bones’ has showcased over the years, do you think Aspinall has the potential to become a real threat to him?

Josh Emmett’s fiery response to Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett had brought up Josh Emmett in one of his interviews while talking about the famed UFC Featherweight, Ilia Topuria. Pimblett stated that he didn’t want to fight Topuria since he wasn’t able to beat even Emmett. He also labeled Emmet a 39-year-old who might retire soon.

But, the ’38-year-old’ Featherweight recently stated that he still had enough to take out Pimblett in a bout. In an interview with ‘InsiderFighting’, Emmett fired at the Scouser, stating, “I would put him away. I’d go, but I’d be down to go up to, you know, lightweight and, uh, and do that if the UFC would allow it or he would want to do it”.

He also bashed Pimblett’s nature, stating, “He just says what people want to hear or he thinks they want to hear, and, uh, you know, he’s a, he’s a witty guy”.

Do you think this beef might lead these two inside the octagon to settle their differences? Will Emmett be able to back his words if it happens?
