While having a conversation with ‘The Schmo’ Miocic revealed that Aspinall should refrain from making the same mistakes as him, “Don’t do what I did [LAUGHS]. Tom is super tough and he hits hard, moves well, he’s a big man,” Miocic said. “If he stays calm under the situation and whatever happens, he just stays calm, I think he’ll be fine. If he picks his shots and he’s smart with what he does, I think he’ll do fine.”
Tom Aspinall is one of the best fighters on the face of the earth, with a career record of 15 records and 3 defeats, the Briton has finished 14 fights in the very first round. Well, Jones might have a hard time against Aspinall when they fight. But for now, let us move on forward to Kamaru Usman, who has a choice of fighter, who could take on and defeat another UFC champion, Dricus Du Plessis.
Dricus Du Plessis put on alert as Kamaru Usman names his nemesis
Dricus Du Plessis is on an amazing winning streak, having defeated Sean Strickland twice and Israel Adesanya once in his last three fights. Despite his unconventional fighting style, the South African has been dominating his opponents with impressive performances. With two title defenses to his name and an undefeated UFC run, ‘Stillknocks’ sits at the top of the middleweight food chain. However, Kamaru Usman has come forward to name the man who could mark the end of his title reign.

While having a conversation with Henry Cejudo on their YouTube ‘Pound-4-Pound’ podcast, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ revealed that Nassourdine Imavov has what it takes to get past Du Plessis and dethrone him, “From what I saw yesterday [at UFC 312], there’s still a big question mark on potentially two guys that I think have a great shot at dethroning DDP,” Usman explained. “… If he fought Nassourdine Imavov the way that he fought Sean Strickland… I don’t like that fight for DDP.”
He further added,“[…] We saw how [Imavov’s] standup was with Israel Adesanya; when you stand up with Nassourdine Imavov, he might be the sharper guy right beside Israel Adesanya right now.” Well, the French-Dagestani fighter has been on a four-fight winning streak, and his last victory against former middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya was just the cherry on top for cementing his status as the next contender. Well, let’s leave the middleweight stars for now and move on to Jared Cannonier, who might be fighting for the last time.
