The reigning middleweight champion recently made an appearance on Theo Von’s podcast. He shared the news about it on Twitter (X) and then posted another tweet mentioning that he was about to have an emotional outburst during the conversation with the popular comedian. Sean Strickland mentioned that he let his emotions lose during the podcast as he opened up about his struggles.

Strickland shared a post on Instagram where he thanked Theo Von for offering to delete the clip of Strickland crying from the podcast episode, to which he received a reply from the popular comedian. He said, “as fckn retared as u are u are somehow one of the most lovable people in the world man. I was crying too man. I coulda made bantamweight by the end of it. and the offer stands at 100. Strickland later shared the comment as a story on Instagram. Dricus du Plessis’ comments about his struggles in the past seemingly had a deep effect on ‘Tarzan.’ We will have to wait and see how things will go down at UFC 297.

Kamaru Usman gives Conor McGregor a wake-up call

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ recently made an appearance on Patrick Bet-David’s podcast where he talked about Conor McGregor’s UFC return. Kamaru Usman has no doubt the Irishman’s return will be a big occasion. However, he is doubtful that McGregor will have the hunger to become champion once again.

“I do think he makes a comeback… he might win fights here and there. But I just don’t see him becoming a champion again,” said Kamaru Usman. He mentioned that to be a champion, a fighter must have a different kind of mentality, and he believes that it will be tough for Conor McGregor to tune into that mode now that he’s made it as the richest athlete in the sport. We will have to wait and see how the Irishman fares when he makes his eventual comeback.

It is almost going to be a year since Hall of Famer Khabib’s cousin Umar Nurmagomedov fought inside the Octagon. He was earlier scheduled to face Cory Sandhagen in July earlier this year. However, an injury to his shoulder forced him to pull out of that fight and since then he’s recovered and is itching to get back inside the Octagon. Nurmagomedov seems to have had enough of waiting as he sent a message to Dana White on social media.
