Michael Chandler lost his last bout against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 but he delivered on entertainment with some enthralling action sequences and hilarious smashes. But what’s next for the ‘Iron’? During his appearance on Bussin’ With The Boys, he claimed that “Chandler vs anybody is a thumbs-up for the UFC right now.”
One matchup that has been revolving around Chandler was against Conor McGregor, and many believe that it is indeed the next fight to make, with the Irishman returning in late 2025. But who does the former Bellator lightweight champion wish to fight after that? Well, he wants to go up against Max Holloway and even called him out during his post-fight interview. The UFC lightweight star said, “Max Holloway for the BMF belt, you know, I mean, I don’t know what my ranking is now. Probably 7-ish or whatever, and he’s number 5, because he beat Gaethje, you know. So like, you got two guys at the top 10, BMF belt, 155.”
Justin Gaethje was the second fighter that ‘Iron’ wanted to go up against. The duo has already fought once at UFC 268. The bout tilted in favor of ‘The Highlight’, getting him the win via unanimous decision. No doubt, Chandler has been itching to have a rematch against Gaethje ever since. He continued, “Chandler vs. Gaethje 2. That’s a big fight, you know. That’s another banger.”

The caption to the Instagram post read, “MIKE PERRY LEAVES SPARRING PARTNER BLOODIED.” In the video, ‘Platinum’ sends a strong uppercut that lands on his sparring partner’s face, who reacted by claiming that he couldn’t see with the headgear on. Perry went on to check on his partner, who hugged him back.
