The former UFC featherweight champion broke down while talking about the people who were affected by the Maui fires during the media day for UFC Singapore. He mentioned how the incident has deeply affected him. Moreover, ‘Blessed’ has also promised to show his support for the victims in his upcoming fight against Chan Sung Jung, also known as ‘The Korean Zombie’.

Max Holloway announced that his walkout song will be an homage to the victims who lost their lives due to the fires in Hawaii. He said, “In honor of those lives that have been lost in the fire and to the heroes that are doing what they can, my walk out song is dedicated to you guys.”

Holloway also stated that he will be sporting a new fight gear. He has traditionally been wearing black colored trunks for the majority of his UFC career. However, this time it will be different. For his upcoming bout against ‘The Korean Zombie’, Holloway will wear red colored trunks. “Also in solidarity to the people of Lahaina, I will be wearing red trunks in my fight for the first time,” said the former champion.

Sean O’Malley responds to Ian Garry’s remarks about the UFC 292 PPV

UFC 292 saw the end of Aljamain Sterling‘s reign as the bantamweight champion. Sean O’Malley captured the belt after registering a 2nd-round TKO win over ‘Funkmaster.’ After six years of climbing the ladder to success, ‘Suga’ finally became the champion and one of the biggest stars in the promotion. However, Conor McGregor‘s underling Ian Garry begs to differ.

Ian Garry claimed that he was the biggest star of the night in Boston. It prompted a response from O’Malley, who claimed that he said the same “delusional” things when he was fighting on pay-per-view. Additionally, he also mentioned that the comment from Garry stems from the time when ‘Suga’ shared a video posted by ‘The Future’ on Twitter (X) about his manager making remarks about Geoff Neal pulling out of UFC 292. O’Malley believes that is what might have triggered Ian Garry.

Darren Till spoke about ‘Dana White Privilege’

During a recent interview, former UFC fighter Darren Till was asked the question regarding ‘Dana White Privilege’. Everybody talks about certain fighters getting special treatment from the boss. However, ‘The Killer Gorilla’ believes that there is no such thing as that. If a fighter can bring in the numbers, he or she will always get special treatment.

“If you’re bringing the views in then you’re going to get special treatment. There’s no other way round it,” said Darren Till. He also mentioned that Dana White is not anybody’s friend. All the fighters share a business relationship with the UFC president. When it comes to Sean O’Malley, it is all about “superstar privilege.”
