The former welterweight champion seemed excited about the prospect of facing Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294 in his first middleweight fight. As such, he quoted Sean Strickland and said, “Like Sean Strickland says, we’re gonna do the man dance.” However, Chimaev was in no mood for dancing. He just wants to fight.

“I am not here for dancing, man,” said Chimaev. He also stated that he was there to beat his opponent, and that is the only thing that makes him different from Kamaru Usman. ‘Borz’ further said, “I’m here to k*ll somebody. That’s the difference here. I will come and smash your face. Sorry.”

Khamzat Chimaev doesn’t care whether it was Paulo Costa or Kamaru Usman. He’s made his intentions clear that he’s there to win and make money and then move on to the next challenge. It remains to be seen how things will go down this weekend.

‘Borz’ interrupts Dana White during UFC 294 press conference

Reporters asked Dana White about the future of Paulo Costa at the pre-fight press conference after he pulled out of this weekend’s event in Abu Dhabi. But before the UFC CEO addressed that situation, Khamzat Chimaev interrupted him and told the reporter not to ask questions about ‘Borrachinha’. He believes that Costa got scared and turned away from fighting him.

“That guy [Costa] went home, man. [He] sh*t himself, man,” said Khamzat Chimaev. But then Dana White tried to defend Paulo Costa due to his dire injury situation. However, Chimaev interrupted him again and asked the UFC CEO to be honest about the situation by claiming that he was scared to fight. We will have to wait and see how the Brazilian responds to these comments from Chimaev.

‘The Notorious’ recently shared a story on Instagram with an image of the various transformations that his body has gone through. He also wrote that the weight class for his return is yet to be decided. But Conor McGregor will return at whatever weight he will be at when the day of his return eventually arrives- “There will be no designated weight it will be what God decides on the morning.”
