So let’s start this compilation by talking about the heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. The 37-year-old had a little demand about the only loss in his MMA record.
Thereafter, we’ll talk about the big news from Conor McGregor, who hinted that a potential move to fighting in his part-owned BKFC promotion could be possible in his post-UFC career. Finally, our roundup ends with Joe Rogan, who recently gave Francis Ngannou a heads-up regarding his next MMA opponent.

Matt Hamill, the only person to ever beat Jon Jones, may get his win overturned after the removal of the 12-6 elbow strike rule. It didn’t take much time for the UFC heavyweight king to react to the change in the MMA ruleset, which is scheduled to take effect from November onwards. As such, Jones shared an Instagram post, and sent a message to his boss, Dana White, about wiping off the loss from the “history books.”

“Undefeated then, undefeated now.. [Dana White] we gotta get that loss out of the history books,” wrote Jon Jones. Meanwhile, Dana White has yet to respond to that message from ‘Bones’ as it seems like he’s on vacation with his son, Aidan, having his birthday today. Meanwhile, should the commission consider overturning the decision of the Matt Hamill fight, Jones could very well become the best MMA fighter of all time by wiping the zero in the loss section of his record.
Is Conor McGregor fighting in the BKFC?
Conor McGregor made the headlines again, but for a reason that not many fans would be happy about. He fired Mike Perry, and the BKFC’s biggest star could be gone. However, we don’t know yet if the Irishman has the kind of authority to make such decisions, but what we do know now is the possibility of seeing McGregor in action in his party-owned promotion. ‘The Notorious’ has spoken about what fight fans could expect after the end of his UFC run.
Conor McGregor continued:
So, we'll see what happens. After that, ya know, I'm gonna see what's on the horizon. A bare knuckle fighting world title sounds very, very exciting to me. So, we'll see what happens. https://t.co/HX6LXKLula

“Two fights left on my UFC contract… possibly [taking off his UFC gloves], yes. Possibly,” said Conor McGregor during a recent media scrum. Hence, the UFC could be up for a rude awakening should ‘The Notorious’ decide to part ways with the promotion where he became the superstar that he is right now. But on the plus side for the fans, McGregor claims that winning a bare-knuckle world title “sounds very, very exciting.”

Joe Rogan has a waning for Francis Ngannou regarding Renan Ferreira
Having fought two boxers, Francis Ngannou is now gearing up for his maiden PFL bout against former heavyweight champion, Renan Ferreira. The latter has a record of 13-3, and during ‘The Predator’s return to the JRE podcast, Joe Rogan cautioned Ngannou about what he can expect from his opponent on his debut in the UFC’s rival promotion. “That’s the guy that knocked out Ryan Bader. He’s dangerous, he’s legit,” Rogan told the former UFC champion.

Joe Rogan has mentioned a few times about credible fighters outside of the UFC, including the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, in the past. As such, he seems to understand what Renan Ferreira brings to the table and told Francis Ngannou about the former PFL champion’s physical perks. “He’s a big dude, too. very athletic, fast,” Rogan added. Now, it becomes all the more interesting to see how ‘The Predator’ fares in his first MMA fight since January 2022.
