Kid Rock joined Joe Rogan on the #2106 episode of the JRE podcast. The duo talked about the 2023 boycott of Bud Light. Apparently, the singer-musician was one of the first influential figures to have taken the step to boycott the iconic Anheuser-Busch brand. But he recently revealed that he holds no bad blood with Bud Light. Instead, Rock was only having fun with that incident. “I was just having fun, to be honest with you,” said Kid Rock.

He further went on to mention that Anheuser-Busch was determined to get into his good graces. As a result, CEO Brendan Whitworth came by to visit the 53-year-old and they enjoyed a pleasant time together. This led to him stopping boycotting the iconic beer brand.

“[We] broke bread, got f***ed up on Bud Light, bowled. At the end of the day, they got the message and I’m not someone who holds a f***ing grudge his whole life.” Rock said about the time he spent with Whitworth.

Dana White opens new UFC PI in Mexico

So far, Las Vegas, Nevada, which is the home of the UFC, was the only city that enjoyed the privilege of having a Performance Institute. But now, the UFC has launched another one in Mexico’s capital city. CEO Dana White was there for the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open up the PI for use ahead of UFC Mexico City and Dia de la Bandera (‘Flag Day’ of Mexico).

The occasion was celebrated thoroughly as a Mariachi band performed to make that auspicious moment. As Dana White proceeded to cut the ribbon, he revealed that this had been a dream of his for a long time. “This has been a dream/goal of mine for a very long time going back to 2001… To be walking the halls, looking at the gym and this incredible facility is amazing,” said the UFC CEO. We will have to wait and see how many more talented Mexican fighters come up to the UFC with a new state-of-the-art PI in Mexico City.
