‘GSP’ returned to the UFC to commentate during the Fight Pass Invitational 5 event. Later, during the post-fight press conference, media personnel asked him if Dana White’s recent announcement regarding a potential superfight included him. Georges St-Pierre replied by saying, “Absolutely not.” It does not seem like he’s going to return to fight again.

“I always told myself that I will not fight in a cage after the age of 40,” St-Pierre further stated. It was a great sight for fans to see ‘GSP’ back in a UFC event, which sparked rumors of his return. Sadly, there are no plans for the Hall of Famer to come back and fight inside the Octagon.

However, Georges St-Pierre did mention that he could compete in other forms of combat sport. But he has left his career as an MMA fighter behind. “I don’t say I’ll never compete in any combat sport event but a fight in a cage professionally in a serious thing for my legacy, I will not do it,” ‘GSP’ added. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the former two-division champ in the future.

Gordon Ryan is not interested in ‘Nicky Rod’s challenge

Nick Rodriguez recently competed in UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5 and defeated Yuri Simoes via points. He then called out Gordon Ryan, who was in attendance. Rodriguez proposed a match with high stakes where both he and the 5-time ADCC champion would put $50,000 on the line each to see who comes out on top to take the $100,000. Surprisingly, ‘The King’ had no interest in that proposal.

“No [not interested in Nicky Rod]. Nicky Rod and that whole team make their career off sound bites for me,” said Gordon Ryan during the post-fight press conference. He ended the discussion without giving a proper explanation as to why he did not want to accept the $100k challenge. We will have to wait and see if there is a chance for fans to witness ‘The King’ and ‘Nicky Rod’ fighting each other in the future.

Dana White claps back at a fan, who claimed he promoted things for money

The UFC CEO is often busy addressing the media, setting up events, and catering to his different sports leagues, including the UFC. But he recently found some time to watch Amazon Prime’s original series ‘Reacher’ and fell in love with the show. Dana White shared a post on his Instagram handle of a scene from the show and mentioned how much he enjoyed watching it.

“I don’t watch TV and I don’t really watch many movies anymore. I watched Season 1 of Reacher. This show is so BAD ASS. Been waiting for Season 2 FOREVER but it finally comes out on December 15th. If you haven’t seen it yet you can knock out season 1 before season 2 comes out. Pump these season out faster,” said Dana White. Just then, a fan commented on his post, claiming that he posted such videos just to promote and make some money out of it.

The comment did not go unnoticed as Dana White shut the fan down by stating that he does not do it for money. He replied, “I don’t post sh*t for money. I want them to put seasons out FASTER.” It was uncharacteristic for the UFC CEO to reply to someone on social media in that fashion, but then again, White is a pretty vocal individual.
