The UFC CEO got trolled yet again by fans for the announcement of an upcoming fight at UFC 301. Flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his title for the second time in May. He will defend the 125-pound title against rising contender Steve Erceg, who’s undefeated in the UFC ever since he joined the promotion in 2023.
Alexandre Pantoja will defend his flyweight title at UFC 301 versus Steve Erceg on May 4 in Rio, per the promotion. No word just yet on if this will be the main event.

Erceg is certainly one of the few fighters to have earned a title shot in such a short amount of time, but the fans did not seem too interested in this fight. The fans believe that UFC 301 is set for a low PPV buy rate with this fight on the card. Meanwhile, another revelation came to light regarding Dana White’s Power Slap League.

Dana White has been talking big about the Power Slap League since its inception in 2023. He claims that the events of his slap-fighting venture are doing great numbers. However, Bob Menery of ‘Overdogs Podcast’ had a different story to share about Power Slap. The 36-year-old revealed that White’s second promotion isn’t as popular as he claims it to be.
“He had this little rinky-dink f***ing app that didn’t even f***ing function or work called Power Slap. He’s always like so many players are playing this f***ing thing. There was nobody f***ing playing that thing,” said Menery. It will be interesting to see how Dana White reacts to this remark in the future.
No more movies for Conor McGregor?
‘Road House‘ just had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival, as the film is set to release on March 21. Conor McGregor recently had a brief interview where he was asked about his next plans in the movie industry. However, the Irishman doesn’t have anything coming up soon. He said, “Right now, this present time, I have no conversations ongoing. So, we’ll see what happens.”
However, ‘The Notorious’ isn’t counting out a potential career in Hollywood. He wants to see how viewers react to his debut role as ‘Knox’ in ‘Road House’ before making any decisions regarding his next flick. “The movie is going to come out, [we’ll] see how people respond and see what ends up on my table,” Conor McGregor added. We will have to wait and see if the remake lives up to the standard of the original 1989 cult classic.
