The UFC as well as Dana White is going through a class action lawsuit filed by more than 1200 former as well as current fighters in the UFC. The recent documents have revealed way too many things that were kept hidden by the promotion. One such hidden secret was the massive payout that the former WWE champ, CM Punk got in his entry fight.

As per the reports, UFC has a policy that they would not reveal what the fighters made in their fights to the public. However, White was well aware of the fact that the fighters know about each other’s payout.“All the fighters know what other fighters are making. They all talk. They all know. Even guys who say they don’t want their number out there, they tell,” said White.

He further added, “It just happened recently again, too. We had some guy that was — that was paid a certain amount of money and never — oh, the professional wrestler that we brought in. Not Brock [Lesnar], the other one,” White said in the deposition. When the attorney inquired whether it was CM Punk, then White said, “Oh, yeah. People went crazy when they saw what he got paid. … Even the women.” As per the reports, CM Punk was given a massive $500000 for his debut. The report further explains that the amount is double the stated $500000.

Demetrious Johnson blames Dana White for his exit from the UFC

Demetrious Johnson was one of the most technical fighters in the UFC and these are the words of Joe Rogan. Johnson was drafted away from the UFC at the time when he was at its peak. The former champion made an appearance on Quinto͏n ‘Rampage’ Jackson’s Jaxxon Podcast, where they delved into various topics.

During the conversation, the ͏topic of rumors surrounding Joe Rogan suggesting Johnson’s trade-off came up. However, Johnson didn’t seem surprised by these rumors, as he was already aware of such discussions. “See I talked to Joe Rogan and Joe Rogan said ‘No I had nothing to do with it’ so you you never know,” he said.

He further added, “When I heard that Joe Rogan convinced Dana White to do it, it was you know Joe was like ‘Dude, just why not? Just get Ben Askren and see what’s going to happen, right? Like if you plan on getting rid of the division alright, do it.’ Even though Joe Rogan is one of my biggest fans and he believes in my skill set I think at the time that you know it was Dana White.”

Jon Anik recommends that Conor McGregor stay at 155 lbs

Conor McGregor announced his return on New Year’s Eve. The former dual-weight champion will grace the Octagon again, however, there’s a catch to it. McGregor has stated that he would be fighting at 185 lbs, in other words, his clash with Michael Chandler would happen in the middleweight division. Chandler has accepted his invitation, however, Jon Anik is skeptical about it.

While having a conversation with “MMAJunkie” Anik explained that he hopes that their fight doesn’t happen at the middleweight division. “I pray that’s our reality (that it doesn’t happen at middleweight). If I was writing a pay-per-view open, and I do write those myself, I would eliminate the weight class probably. I probably would eliminate the weight class from my pay-per-view open and just focus on a returning Conor McGregor.”

He further added, “The only defense for that fight happening at middleweight, with respect to my friend Conor McGregor, is his leg. And if they just don’t want him (to) and he doesn’t want to cut the weight, to try to have that leg be as strong as humanly possible to try to get through that first fight.” Despite clarification from McGregor, the happening of the fight remains at the hands of Dana White and he has not yet stated anything.
