Dana White and Stephen Espinoza’s relationship first turned sour after the Mayweather-McGregor Fight. The prime reason behind it was the disagreements over its promotion and box office success. Now, in a recent press conference following Tuesday’s Contender Series event, White was asked for his take on the rumor about Showtime Boxing reportedly pulling the plug on boxing promotion, after 2024.

The UFC head honcho quipped, “That’s incredibly unfortunate. Production of that show was fantastic. The guy who runs Showtime Boxing is a great human being. It’s unfortunate to hear this.” Followed by a “F**k Espinoza, and it’s about time that shitty product is off the air.”

The verbal jab didn’t sit well with the Boxing president. During a press conference to promote Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo. Espinoza fired back at White’s remarks. He reminded the UFC CEO that there are ‘levels’ to the fight game.

In response to Espinoza’s words, White added a story on his Instagram handle. He retorted back with some strong words, labeling him as a Weasel’ and ‘scumbag.’ The UFC CEO even asserted that Espinoza has absolutely nothing to do with the success of Canelo, Ryan Garcia, and Terence Crawford…

Tyson Fury’s father mocks Francis Ngannou’s open workouts with Mike Tyson

WBO champ Tyson Fury’s father John Fury is clearly distasteful of his son’s upcoming rival, former UFC Heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou. Why? Well, in a recent short but impactful clip, Fury made it abundantly clear that he was far from impressed with Ngannou’s performance during the workout. Fury didn’t mince words, making it apparent that he found Ngannou’s skills lacking and subpar.

He expressed his hope that Ngannou’s performance during the open workout was nothing more than a joke or a ruse to deceive Tyson Fury. He predicted a quick knockout for Ngannou and thought the skill difference was “embarrassing.” Moreover, the 59-year-old Irish boxing veteran declared, “I hope that’s a joke… If that’s what he’s got, God help him, he’ll get smashed to bits. That’s embarrassing. It’s a disgrace.”

To conclude, John Fury’s remarks about Francis Ngannou’s open workout were characterized by a lack of confidence in Ngannou’s abilities and a strong belief in his son Tyson Fury’s prowess in the boxing ring. His candid and direct commentary left little room for ambiguity regarding his thoughts on the potential outcome of the slated war between Ngannou and Tyson Fury.
