Dana White brings massive boxing fight to MSG
Last year, the UFC head honcho announced plans to venture into the boxing scene after a previous unsuccessful attempt. It now seems those ambitions are gaining traction. During a recent trip to Dublin to support Callum Walsh’s homecoming fight, White was captivated by the overwhelming support Irish heavyweight Thomas Carty received from the passionate Dublin crowd. Impressed by both Carty’s talent and fanbase, White made a promise on the spot—vowing to bring the rising star to the United States.

It seems White has stayed true to his word, successfully bringing Carty to the U.S. for a high-stakes debut. However, Carty faces a daunting challenge in the 6’3″ knockout artist Dajuan Calloway. Known for his raw power and staggering size, Calloway tipped the scales at over 400 pounds in his last three bouts, racking up eight impressive KOs along the way.
Their highly anticipated showdown is set for March 16 at the iconic Madison Square Garden. White appears determined to test his latest prospect against formidable competition, but the question remains—can the Irish contender halt the American powerhouse? Only time will tell. Now, turning to Merab Dvalishvili!
Merab Dvalishvili locks in on Umar Nurmagomedov
With a flawless record of 18 victories and no defeats, Umar Nurmagomedov remains undefeated in his MMA career. But Merab Dvalishvili is locked in and ready for the challenge against the Dagestani fighter. By branding Dagestani athletes as “fake Russians” the 135lbs kingpin has added personal animosity to his clash with ‘Young Eagle’.
While betting odds favor Nurmagomedov to dethrone the bantamweight champion, Dvalishvili holds a different view. Speaking with The Schmo, he made his intentions crystal clear, “Nothing I want, all I want is to win and beat him because he has 18 and 0. You know which is undefeated, he has never been defeated before. He is like an amateur world champion, Russian champion, and Dagestan champion. And, you know, he’s Khabib’s cousin and his brother Khabib never loses before. I will be the first to give him a loss.”
Dvalishvili remains confident in his ability to defend the belt and topple his undefeated opponent. However, Nurmagomedov is equally resolute, vowing to seize the bantamweight title regardless of the challenge ahead. The stage is set for an intense showdown between two determined forces.

Umar Nurmagomedov intensifies rivalry with Merab Dvalishvili
Dana White knew that he pulled in a banger when Merab Dvalishvili asked the UFC CEO to place him against Nurmagomedov for his first title defense. Their fight is scheduled to happen within a few days and the bad blood between the fighters is just increasing day-by-day. From the backstage confrontation to personal jabs, the heat of rivalry is just increasing. However, the Dagestani has come forward to assert that he is as calm as the silence before the storm.
While having a conversation with the media, the title challenger said, “A lot of people around the world can just talk. For me, I just want to take his belt, and if this guy has something (bad) with me personally, he will have to do something. I will close all questions in the cage, and after that, we’ll see what he’s going to do.”
Issuing a warning to ‘The Machine’, Nurmagomedov further added, “In a fight, anything can happen. I can’t tell you, ‘This is not going to happen, never, ever.’ But this guy will not beat me. Never, ever. “
