Dana White has already spent $9M for the Sphere event, claims Joe Rogan
The UFC CEO did not lie when he said that he wants to host the greatest combat sports event in history at the $2.3 billion-worth structure – the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. On that note, Joe Rogan recently made some stunning revelations regarding the UFC event in September, claiming that it will be something that fans have never seen in the promotion’s history. “They’re essentially planning for that [event] different than they’ve ever planned for any other event,” the longtime UFC commentator stated on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’.

In addition to that, the 56-year-old also provided a piece of insider information. Joe Rogan claimed that Dana White has already invested a sum of $9 million for the event. “Dana told me they’ve already spent $9 million preparing for September’s event,” Rogan added. He also mentioned that the UFC has only one Sphere event in their plans, which makes us wonder what will the final product look like when September comes around.
Jon Jones shares words of compliment for Alex Pereira and Stipe Miocic
The UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently returned to training after healing from his shoulder injury. He shared a post to confirm that news to his fans when one user posted a comment asking why he is still considering a fight against Stipe Miocic, who’s 41 years old, and not a young blood like Tom Aspinall, who is the interim champion. Jones replied with a positive word regarding the former champion and mentioned that Miocic deserves a shot because of all the success he’s had in the heavyweight division.

“I love how high I’ve set the expectations. Even fresh off surgery you guys still don’t give the greatest heavyweight ever a shot,” Jon Jones replied. Thereafter, another fan commented on his post and shared a GIF image of Alex Pereira. ‘Bones’ showed great sportsmanship and commended ‘Poatan’ for his impressive performance at UFC 300. “What a performance,” stated an astounded Jones. We will have to wait and see if any of the two aforementioned fighters respond to these kind words from the heavyweight champion.

Conor McGregor receives an offer for a fight
Conor McGregor got the whole combat sports world buzzing when made an appearance at BKFC 41 last year. He showered praise on all the fighters who competed that night and then decided to face off against ‘Platinum,’ Mike Perry. For a moment, it seemed as if McGregor was planning to fight in a bare-knuckle matchup. But that never happened, and as such, Perry has now spoken about wanting that fight to become a reality.
“Look, Conor likes to throw hands. He’s a great boxer. Fought Floyd Mayweather. He got a front-row seat to watch my show with Like and he gave me some of his time there,” Mike Perry told ‘MMA Fighting’. “Maybe he’d rip me apart with the words. I’d be there for it! Let’s go! I’d a learn a thing or two for sure, and I’d try to teach him a thing or two in the ring,” he added.

Despite the thought of getting to watch Conor McGregor inside the BKFC squared circle being an interesting one, it is unlikely that he will be able to fight Mike Perry anytime soon. ‘The Notorious’ has already mentioned having one more fight after Michael Chandler left in his UFC contract. Hence, it remains to be seen what McGregor chooses to venture into after his last fight in Dana White’s promotion.
