Well, it appears that the Kiwi fighter may have different thoughts about this. While having a conversation with ‘The Schmo’ Dan Hooker emphasized that he would love to fight for the BMF title. ‘Schmo’ asked the fighter about what would be the one fight that he would like to take if he would have been the matchmaker right now, to which ‘Hangman’ said, “Just one? Oh, well, if you go like [that], I’d probably have gone for that BMF title. Okay, yeah, that’s pretty sweet.”

Have an interesting take?

Down in the conversation, when ‘Schmo’ asked the fighter what he would do after he gets that belt, Hooker stated, “straight to the bank baby you got pay-per-view point.” This confession might bring Conor McGregor’s comeback story to a full stop. Regardless, let us move on forward to Raquel Pennington who blamed the judges in Utah for her loss.

Raquel Pennington confesses about her loss against Juliana Pena

Raquel Pennington lost her bantamweight title to Julianna Peña at UFC 307, where the Brazilian overpowered her to secure the decision victory. Pennington put herself to the test against Pena as she defended her title for the very first time after clinching it but despite her best efforts, Pena took the title back by way of split decision. Now that the match has been concluded, Pennington is of the opinion that she should have won the fight and it was the judges who wrote her defeat.

“When it comes to these judges, they need to make it very clear because a lot of them say that the damaging shots are what’s scoring,” said Pennington while having a conversation with ‘MMAFighting’, “I had the damaging shots [in the first round], and it just gets frustrating. It gets frustrating from just being a competitor and the athlete in that situation, but not even just my fight. I have no idea what the judges were seeing that night in general. I even feel bad for Jose Aldo. His fight was the same thing.”

She further added, ” I’ve had numerous top athletes reach out to me. I’ve had Dana White, freaking Hunter [Campbell], Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, [Daniel Cormier], everybody who’s sitting right there and everybody is just like, ‘No way. We don’t understand this.’ Nobody understood it. I didn’t understand it.” She lost her six-fight winning streak with this loss. Well, she might not get an immediate rematch considering Kayla Harrison is there to fight Pena. So while we wait for the water to clear at women’s bantamweight, let us see why Jon Jones appears to be taking Gary Brecka’s help in his path to glory.
