Mr. Justice Alexander Owens has ordered Conor McGregor to pay the entire cost of the legal case to Nikita Hand. The civil case went on for about 12 days, and the estimate of the cost summed up to around $1.58 million. As per the Irish Examiner, the Judge had remarked on the court, “there was always going to be costs against McGregor, let’s face it”.

On the other hand, the court found James Lawrence innocent. However, Lawrence would not be getting his legal fees back. The Judge said, “It is completely inappropriate to award Mr. Lawrence any part of his costs even though he succeeded in his defense against Ms. Hand.” Chief executive Rachel Morrogh expressed her opinion on Mr. Justic Alexander Owens’ decision. She said, “Although for Nikita Hand, this case was always about the verdict, it was also important that both symbolically and financially, justice didn’t give with one hand and take away with the other. The costs awarded this afternoon underscore the significant consequences arising from Nikita Hand’s courage and her brave legal action.”

Now, let’s move on to the second story for the day. And it’s all about Dana White’s troubles with an OnlyF–s star collaboration.

Dana White makes the fans go into a frenzy with an OF star collaboration

Going along with the trends of social media, the UFC head honcho appointed Nina Marie Danielle to take charge of the UFC’s promotions on Instagram. But when it came to his slap-fighting competition, PowerSlap, White took the help of the OF star Jameliz Benitez Smith, popularly known as Jelly Bean to promote the shows.

White and Morris released 2 promotional videos for PowerSlap 10. In the first video, Morris could be seen smashing the window of a Lamborghini, before declaring that she’d be giving away her McLaren 600LT Spider during the event. The caption on White’s IG post read, “@jellybean.irl is giving away this McLaren 600LT Spider FOR FREE!!! All you have to do is watch @powerslap this Friday Dec 6th LIVE and FREE on Rumble.” The second video had a similar message but with a hilarious take. White seemed to be wheeling the OF celebrity in a travel bag. And guess what was in the background. Yep, the same McLaren 600LT Spider.

While the collaboration garnered a shipload of attention, some fans decided to bring out the social media platforms’s troubled image. A user on IG took to the comments and wrote, “Collabing with a — worker is a new low Dana.” Upset with the comment, the UFC CEO replied, “put a f—n shirt on.”

Fans were not happy with White using UFC channels to promote Power Slap. So it’s no surprise this new stunt is facing some serious backlash.

Coming back to the UFC, it’s finally time for us to celebrate Alex Pereira’s latest achievement. Well, the light heavyweight champion was just named the Fighter of the Year.

As the 16th annual World MMA Awards went on, the Male Fighter of the Year award went to the man with the hands of stone. After he received the award, Pereira said, “I’m very happy to win this award, you know. It means a lot to me.” Pereira went on to thank Glover Teixeira, the man who taught him quite a lot about the world of mixed martial arts, as well as the world outside of it. He even included everyone else in his gym who helped him achieve so much in the MMA realm.

‘Poatan’ continued, “When I look back to 3 years ago when I first joined the UFC, a lot of people doubted me, a lot of people said that I wouldn’t make it. You know, I went through a lot. A lot of good things has happened. And now I’m here. Now I’m getting this award.” This pushed him to inspire everyone in the audience. He said, “When somebody tells you, ‘You cannot do it.’ Don’t listen to them. Never give up on your dreams.” Just like he finished his fights, Pereira finished his speech in style. All he had to say in the end was “Chama.”
