‘The Notorious’ made an unexpected appearance at the NBA Finals on June 10th, 2023. He was there to promote his new pain relief spray. However, things took a turn for the worse as Conor McGregor saw some heinous accusations leveled against him. The accusations were made by a woman, and as a result, McGregor and his fiancee Dee Devlin faced a lot of backlash. However, it seems like the former UFC double champion saw the accusations getting dropped.

A report by TMZ claimed that Conor McGregor will not face any charges for the controversial incident that took place at the NBA finals. This is due to the insufficient evidence regarding that incident. Moreover, McGregor’s attorney also clarified all the doubts regarding that front.

Jon Jones responds to Islam Makhachev

Islam Makhachev recently appeared during the media day ahead of UFC 294. Given that he has been aiming to become the best pound-for-pound fighter, he took a jibe at Jon Jones’s P$P status. Makhachev stated that a real champion needs to take any fight presented before him. He then reverted to Jones and mentioned how the UFC offered him to fight Chael Sonnen, instead of fighting someone with serious caliber. However, the heavyweight champion did not fail to respond to this random attack.

Jon Jones took to Twitter (X) and expressed his thoughts about the situation. He wanted young, up-and-coming fighters to beat and surpass his records instead of resorting to verbal warfare. This response got the fans to back Jones, and we wait to see if Makhachev will respond to it in the future.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ recently participated in a public workout in Abu Dhabi as he gears up to fight Khamzat Chimaev this weekend. Justin Gaethje also joined him for the workout. They were showcasing some of the grappling skills when things got a little too serious towards the end of the workout.

Both fighters showcased their strength in trying to pick each other up in a rather friendly manner. However, when Gaethje tried to go for a single-leg takedown, Kamaru Usman countered it by body slamming ‘The Highlight’ onto the mat. But ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ had an awkward landing while slamming his sparring partner, which prompted Gaethje to ask him if he was alright. This could have proved detrimental to the former UFC champion, given that his upcoming fight was just days away.
