On Thursday, a stabbing incident took place at Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland. A Deliveroo driver named Caio Benicio took matters into his own hands after stumbling across the scene. Benicio, who’s a Brazilian immigrant, immediately got off his bike and rushed to help the victims, which included three young children and a female creche worker.

Thereafter, he hit the attacker with his helmet and helped subdue him in the process. The news of Benicio’s brave attempt caught the attention of Conor McGregor, who made a pledge to him. The former UFC champion mentioned how impressed he was with the Deliveroo driver’s bravery.

Dana White’s prediction about Impa Kasanganay coming true after four years

29-year-old MMA fighter Impa Kasanganay recently became the light heavyweight champion at PFL 10. He also won the $1 million prize money after winning the competition. However, UFC CEO Dana White had already predicted this four years ago when Kasanganay was a competitor in the Contender Series.

Dana White mentioned four years ago that he truly believed Impa Kasanganay was a world-class athlete. However, the 54-year-old promoter was not sure if he could have navigated through the bright lights of the UFC due to lack of experience. As such, Kasanganay was released from the White’s promotion in 2021. However, the UFC CEO had no doubt that whichever promotion he signed with next, he’d be a future champion there. Now, Kasanganay proved that at PFL 10.

Ian Garry’s wife Layla Anna-Lee had a book released over a decade ago named ‘How to be a WAG’. Apparently, UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland did not take a liking to the theme of the book and sounded off about it on social media. Moreover, he made some comments about Garry’s wife and the age difference between the two. However, ‘The Future’ clapped back at Strickland with a legal threat.

Sean Strickland shared screenshots of a conversation he had on his Instagram DMs with Ian Garry. There, the rising UFC star mentioned that the things ‘Tarzan’ said about his wife and the book harassed and defamed his wife’s character. In addition to that, Garry also asked Strickland to take down the video he posted on his social media regarding his wife’s book or a legal action would be in place. However, the middleweight champion seemed unfazed by the Irishman’s threat and urged him to step up for a fight rather than a lawsuit. We will have to wait and see how things turn out between the two fighters in the days to come.
