To highlight that, Conor McGregor took to X and wrote, “They are eyeing Prichard Colon for next opponent.” Prichard Colon was paralyzed following a bout against Terrel Williams back in 2015. The Irishman’s comment was meant to mock Paul’s habit of fighting slower and weaker opponents. 

However, McGregor was a bit too late to realize that he made a mistake by bringing Colon into the discussion. Even though he quickly deleted the tweet, the damage was already done. Cris Cyborg joined many others to bash ‘Mystic Mac’. In a response to Championship Rounds’ post about McGregor’s tweet, Cyborg wrote, “How anyone wants to be associated with Conor at this point is crazy, he’s trash.”

In a later tweet, Cyborg clarified that he was upset about the Irish mixed martial artist’s joke. He wrote, “My reply was more about him tweeting about a fighter paralyzed in the boxing ring as being a joke.”

Now, let’s shift the spotlight to Charles Oliveira and his need to get to bed. After all, going through five rounds of hell against Michael Chandler must have been nothing but tiring.

While the co-main event greatly entertained the fighting community, ‘Do Bronx’ expressed his disappointment at the referee in charge of the fight. As per the Brazilian, the referee let several hammer fists to the back of the Brazilian’s head go unpunished. On top of that, there were a instances of eye-pokes and fence-grabbing, too. In the post-fight press conference, he said, “I kept calling for his attention and nothing would happen. I’d hoped that he would intervene, but nothing happened, so I’m not here to criticize.”

However, a user on X by the name ‘caposa’ went online and shared a tired picture of the Brazilian. The caption read, “Let Charles go to bed. He had a long night.” And it was indeed the one thing ‘Do Bronx’ was craving for. He admitted, “5 rounds, hard hitting adversary… Man  I really needed my bed.”

Finally, let’s put some light on what Dana White’s boxer had to say regarding the fight between ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘Iron’ Mike. Let me tell you, he did not praise Paul.

News of White’s ‘The Fighters’ boxing reality show being canceled by Discovery channel has invited some scrutiny from the fighting community. Even ‘The Problem Child’ spoke about the UFC head honcho. Taking to X, Paul wrote, “All these nut riders need to do their research. His TV show failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighters first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down. Now Conor MCGregor is hostage. Free Conor.”

But bringing in McGregor did not help Paul. Callum Walsh in a reply to Paul’s tweet, wrote, “The “Useless Irish boxer” has won more than you could ever imagine, over 140 amateur fights and now 12-0 as a pro unlike you 11-1, fighting old retired men and the one boxer the same age you lost to. You know where I am.”
