Conor McGregor really loved his dog, Hugo. The former dual-weight champion of the world lost his beloved dog back in 2021. According to McGregor Hugo was much more than a pet to him, he was there with him when he had nothing. The fighter announced the passing of his dog through his social media handle by uploading some photos of him. “From sleeping on a bed frame without a mattress to everything else that came after. Thank you for all the work put in alongside me to get this life correct for our family. All the love and cuddles we will miss forever and ever our Hugo! Gutted,” wrote McGregor in his captions.

Gordon Ryan comes to the rescue of Jon Jones amid Tom Aspinall’s ducking allegations
When asked about his intentions to face Tom Aspinall after successfully defending his title against Stipe Miocic, Jon Jones emphasized that his fight with the Britisher doesn’t make any sense considering the fact that he has not achieved anything as of now, “I feel like Tom Aspinall, I don’t wanna say nobody, but he just hasn’t proven anything. He hasn’t done anything. And I mean, he won his belt against Sergei Pavlovich; Sergei just got slaughtered by someone else. So it’s just like, I’m not here to gamble on someone else making a name off me,” said Jon Jones in a conversation with the media.

Well, this statement has extremely backfired on him as the MMA community is now accusing him of openly ducking the interim heavyweight champion considering the fact that Aspinall has proved himself again and again. Amid the Ducking allegations, Gordon Ryan has come forward to support his friend. Ryan has taken his Instagram handle to share a direct message, “@jonnybones entered the @ufc 16 years ago. He’s beaten every single person the UFC put in front of him across 2 weight division. He’s beaten multiple generations of champions in every fashion. To even put Jon Jones and “ducking” in the same sentence is absolutely one of the most absurd things I’ve ever heard.”
That’s not all as he captioned the post with, “Are you people insane?” This post might find a bit of support from the MMA community but is it enough? Nevertheless, let’s move on to another champion who is facing some heat.

Umar Nurmagomedov has come forward to warn Topuria of the consequences if he runs his mouth against Islam Makhachev, “Ilia, even though he said he didn’t start it. He was the one to start it. He was the one who said he didn’t want to write Islam a check for the broken jaw. Who can you break the jaw of? If you break the jaw, let go tell is it hard to find a person and say, let’s go fight?” said Nurmagomedov.

He further added, “Could it just be a part of getting attention? Maybe. If you look at it that way. Well, I don’t think Islam will give in to him anywhere. Usman is the same and no one in general. This is the sport, it remains inside the cage and there is street. If you have problems on the streets then there are no problems. Today any person can write their acquaintance and say I have problems with you let’s get outside.”
This warning is yet to receive any response from the featherweight champion, who is resting after beating Max Holloway. Regardless, let us move on forward to the last piece of news today which surrounds Michael Chandler and Mike Tyson.
