Conor McGregor has it out against Akon
You read that right, Conor McGregor the UFC superstar clashed with another superstar very recently. Akon is a phenom that came from Senegal and is today an icon everywhere in the world. His super hit songs like ‘Lonely’ still remind people of times gone past. But for McGregor, it might be all fun and games.

The fighter had taken to his X account to sing out Akon’s hit song ‘Locked Up’. This clearly did not sit right with the artist’s team as well as X’s official guidelines. His account was soon in simpler words, ‘Locked Up’ away from him for several hours.
This did not make McGregor all too happy and he decided to go on with taunting and teasing Akon. He would take to his Instagram stories to call out the singer in various ways. In fact, he uploaded himself with a freestyle rap of his own. That’s right, ‘The Notorious’ tried to release a funny little diss track against the singer after getting banned from X for a while.
His account was soon recovered but perhaps it’s best for McGregor to not go at it again. Akon, on the other hand, has not responded to McGregor personally.
Dan Hooker drops out of Bobby Green fight at UFC Austin
Hooker is one of the UFC’s most entertaining fighters. Fans may have been super excited to see him go up against Bobby Green in December but that’s not happening anymore. Hooker’s arm injury repeated, and it makes him completely unable to compete.
Hooker got himself injured right before fighting Jalin Turner at UFC 285. The pair later clashed in July 2023. Following the UFC 290 bout, he had surgery on his arm. Now, he has injured it again in a sparring session, forcing him out of what would have been the first 5-round non-title co-main event on a Fight Night.

Khamzat Chimaev taunts Jiri Prochazka
Khamzat Chimaev is taking names and having fun with it. He recently uploaded a picture of himself and Alex Pereira on his X handle. This prompted a quick response from Pereira’s most recent opponent, Jiri Prochazka. The samurai of the UFC wanted to “welcome” Chimaev to the division. A subtle call out that didn’t go unanswered.

Chimaev would soon respond to the former light heavyweight champion. He taunted him reminding him that he was no longer a champion. “You’ve already lost, you need a belt” Chimaev wrote in one of his recent posts as a response to Prochazka. Will the two butt heads any time soon? Prochazka will probably take some time to recover from his loss to ‘Poatan’ but perhaps once he’s back, a matchup with ‘Borz’ could be superiorly entertaining.
