Belal Muhammad stunned the entire world when he defeated Leon Edwards to clinch the welterweight title at UFC 304. Well, Kamaru Usman and Belal Muhammad have been beefing with each other. Why? Well, because it seems that the former champ is looking to retain his title once again.

Kamaru Usman took to X to call out Muhammad and in response, ‘Remember The Name’ straight out called Usman the past. “I’m all for it, but hey, that boy Belal Muhammad is a menace. He said Black Panther sucks. He’s tripping. Belal, he is tripping. He’s absolutely tripping, but I like it. I like that confidence,” said Cormier on his YouTube handle. He added, “I like that newfound swagger that he’s trying to show now. He’s the man. Kamaru’s the man. He always has been, and if he gets an opportunity, he’s going to fight his ass off to try to become the champ again.”

Getting the title back would mean the new start of Usman’s career as he is currently riding a three-fight losing streak. Regardless, will their fight materialize? Only time can tell, but let us move forward to a fight that seems to be confirmed.

Their fight is yet to be rescheduled but, interestingly, they haven’t forgotten to take a dig at each other. In their most recent escapade, Michael Chandler made fun of Conor McGregor’s recent X post about his luxurious life. The former dual-weight champion recently took to his X handle to share a video of himself enjoying time on his yacht. It appears to have irked ‘Iron,’ who replied to the video with a comment, “Reminder: discount beer and reliving the glory days is a bad look…”

Conor McGregor has been hinting at making a comeback, but his intent appears to be growing weaker day by day. What’s your take on their rivalry? State your thoughts in the comments below.
