In ͏a social media post, Muhammad͏ explained that he had been suffering from a bone ͏in͏fection, “Caught a bone infection in my foot .. had to put a PICC line in my arm for IV antibiotics the next 6 weeks with no physical activity … Allah’s plan is the best plan. I’m sorry to everyone that were coming to see me. I’ll be back soon inshAllah.”

The fighter even shared photos of his injury, and it looked gruesome. An Octagon doctor even came forward to emphasize that it was necessary for Belal Muhammad to pull out of the fight as his bone infection was quite rare and unique, “Explaining Belal Muhammad’s fight with osteomyelitis of the toe. This infection is no joke and can impact training and performance in a big way. Here’s what it means, how it’s treated, and why fighters have to be incredibly resilient.”

As Belal Muhammad heals his foot, Shavkat Rakhmonov has come forward to wish his opponent a speedy recovery, “Wishing Belal a quick recovery. We’ll meet when you’re back at 100%. For now, I’m ready to take on any contender for the interim title at #UFC310.” Belal Muhammad assured Rakhmonov that he would be back within six weeks but the fighter was hellbent on fighting for an interim belt. Regardless, let us move on forward to Alex Pereira, who has a pretty amazing confession about UFC 307.

It still hurts today,” said Pereira in a conversation in a podcast with PodPah.

After defending his light-heavyweight title three times this year, Alex Pereira was approached by the promotion to defend his title against Magomed Ankalaev for the fourth time at the end of the year at UFC 310 but ‘Poatan’ will be busy with his film shoot and it would be good for the Brazilian fighter to rest a bit. Regardless, let us move on to another dominant fighter, who is oozing to fight under the promotion.

While having a conversation with Gorilla Energy, the Bellator’s lightweight champion has emphasized that he is waiting for Islam Makhachev to move forward before making his UFC debut, “I’m waiting for Islam to finish his career and then I will. I think if we get it right, we’ll be fighting at UFC at 28.” The Bellator lightweight champion is currently 26 years old, and waiting four more years would make him 30. This might be an issue for the young fighter but we will have to wait and see how the goalposts involving Makhachev, the UFC, and Usman move around.
