In April, former UFC star Nate Diaz got involved in a street brawl with an unusual individual. He choked out YouTube star Logan Paul‘s lookalike Rodney Peterson Jr., following which he was charged with a second-degree battery charge. However, after months of reviewing, Diaz’s representative, Zach Rosenfield, released a statement. The statement read that the New Orleans Parish District Attorney would not take any legal action against the Stockton native.

The DA reviewed the footage from the incident and came to the conclusion that Rodney Peterson Jr. was the one who instigated the brawl. He claimed that Diaz acted in self-defense after clear observation of the various footage relating to the incident.

The statement further added that Nate Diaz had the right to defend himself against anybody who tried to make a name at his expense. In the end, the Stockton native’s representative thanked the New Orleans Parish District Attorney for their efforts in reviewing the charges and their decision not to go through with it.

Henry Cejudo wonders if Israel Adesanya’s DUI arrest was a publicity stunt

The former UFC middleweight champion was recently arrested on charges of driving under the influence. This incident made loads of headlines. Furthermore, he mentioned how fighters like Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, and Mike Tyson got arrested after devastating losses or when they were going through a troublesome time in their lives. Given that Adesanya is a big name in the MMA, Cejudo wonders if it will work in his favor. However, he extended his support to ‘The Last Stylebender’ and backed him as a fellow mixed martial artist. “As a fighter, as a mixed martial artist too that we’re all behind you, dude,” said Henry Cejudo. He also encouraged Israel Adesanya to keep being the great fighter that he is.

Furthermore, he talked about his next fight, claiming that he was ready to fight anyone. Moreover, he believes that Israel Adesanya could have performed better at UFC 293 and also ideated that the UFC might give him a rematch. Strickland said, “I thought Izzy would be better. I’m sure the UFC might give him a rematch.”

‘Tarzan’ also added that this time, Israel Adesanya could be well prepared, given how he performed the last time out. And for that, Strickland is excited that it will be a better fight. “He might take it a little more serious and put up a better fight,” said the UFC champion. We will have to wait and see how the UFC navigates the title picture in the days to come.
