However, the Armenian-Russian fighter only needed less than a minute to prove how tough he was and knocked out ‘Benny’ in the first round to claim the victory. “We fought four years ago. I was 22 years old. now, I am 27. So, guys, I’ve improved. Now, next fight is gonna be different one. I’m gonna knock him [Makhachev] out,” said Arman Tsarukyan. It remains to be seen when he’ll get the opportunity to fight for the title since Islam Makhachev may have some potential opponents in the near future.

Mike Perry calls out Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov following BKFC 56 triumph

‘Platinum’ seems to have found his mojo under the BKFC banner. The former UFC fighter has been undefeated since joining the promotion in 2022. Mike Perry recently defeated Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56 via a TKO and proceeded to call out some of the renowned names in the fight world, including Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“Conor McGregor would be a great matchup. Khabib ain’t coming over here,” said Mike Perry. He even name-dropped Darren Till, claiming that the English fighter did not want to fight without gloves. However, Perry has laid the challenge for anyone to accept it. He added, “Who wants to fight ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry with no gloves, bro?” We will have to wait and see who steps up to the challenge next.

MMA community sounds off on referee for late stoppage in the Jalin Turner vs Bobby Green fight at UFC Austin

Jalin Turner got back to his winning ways at UFC Austin. The 28-year-old knocked out Bobby Green in the very first round of the fight. However, fans and pundits erupted after witnessing the referee Kerry Hatley taking too much time to stop the fight after ‘King’ was lying unconscious on the mat after the knockout blow.

Most of the time, we’ve seen referees call for an early stoppage. However, this time it was a late stoppage. Many fighters and even Dana White sounded off on the referee for stopping the fight 15 seconds after Bobby Green was down and out. It could have led to some serious consequences. It remains to be seen if Kerry Hatley will continue to serve in the UFC as referee after his recent mishap.
