Alex Pereira and Max Holloway receive a gift from the UFC

UFC 300 will feature two of the biggest stars in the promotion, Alex Pereira and Max Holloway. Both fighters will be fighting in a title fight and the promotion sent them a gift ahead of their fights this weekend. For their outings this weekend, the UFC presented them with new customized shorts.

The one the UFC gave Alex Pereira had a tribal print, which signifies his roots in Brazil. ‘Poatan’ seemed impressed by it and even asked his fans and followers what they thought about it on Instagram. He wrote, “What did you guys [think] of this surprise from the UFC honoring my roots?”

Meanwhile, Max Holloway had his wish for floral shorts granted. The UFC has gifted him with a customized short from Venum, with a floral print that pays dividends to his roots in Hawaii. “You guys asked and [the UFC] delivered,” wrote Holloway on his Instagram. It would be a momentous occasion for both ‘Blessed’ and ‘Poatan’ to be able to wear those shorts on one of the most historic nights for Dana White‘s promotion.

Israel Adesnya reveals how Jamahal Hill can beat ‘Poatan’

Many people are giving their analysis of how the main event of UFC 300 will go down. Even Israel Adesanya recently shared a video breaking down the fight between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill. Despite how scary ‘Poatan’ seems, ‘Izzy’ knows that he’s beatable, which he had proved at UFC 287. Apparently, Hill has the same belief. Adesanya said, “Jamahal made that point, saying he’s beatable. We all know this. I have proven it.”

The former champion believes Jamahal Hill will try to make use of his striking skills after sizing up Alex Pereira. However, the most important thing for him is to stay clear of the champion’s deadly leg kicks. Hill has to make use of his defensive skills and that could prove to be a turning point in the fight. “Jamahal is just going to try and touch him at some point, but avoiding the leg kicks is the tricky bit. I know Jamahal has some remedies for that,” Adesanya added. With just a few days to go, the outcome will be there for the fans to see.

Michael Chandler is patiently waiting for Conor McGregor’s return. However, he is not sitting idly and has been active on social media, interacting with fans and clarifying doubts about the possibility of that fight ever taking place. After wrapping up his duties of promoting ‘Road House‘, McGregor seems to be back in the gym training for his impending return. But he failed to impress Chandler, who took a shot at the Irishman’s recent sparring video that has been making rounds on social media.

Michael Chandler wasn’t satisfied by watching Conor McGregor spar with a partner who was not trying too hard to give some competition to the former UFC double champion, something that fans stated when another sparring video popped up almost a couple of months ago. “Is it considered sparring if your sparring partner, another grown man, can be pushed over like this? Asking for a friend,” tweeted Chandler.
